Custom Navigation Link in SuccessFactors Menu

Did you know you can add a Custom Navigation Link to the menu? 

Here are the steps:

1. Select Configure Custom Navigation from the Company Settings within Admin Center.


2. Enter the Menu Item Lable (as you want it to appear on your menu), specify an ID (to differentiate it from other links), Link Type (for example, external), URL (the hyperlink), Menu Location (Top Navigation, for instance), Permissions (select those who should be able to see it). 


3. Choose Save, and Log Out & Log In back to see it in the list. Click the link to TEST if it's working.

How to add Custom Help Text on Job Requisition fields

  To help Recruiting Users, you can add help text on different fields of a Job Requisition.  The steps are very simple.  1. Go to Manage Recruiting Custom Help Text. You can use Action Search to reach to the page. You should have the necessary permissions.  2. Select the field, add text, and choose Save. 3. To test the help text, go to Recruiting and select any existing Job Requisition, or create a new one as shown in the first image. You should be able to see the text. Interesting feature, isn't it? Creating Live Slides using Presentations Feature

  Have you explored the Presentations Feature within SAP SuccessFactors ? It allows HR users creating LIVE slides out of Talent Data, without having a need to create & run a report and then to download & format data to use in a presentation.  Here are the steps: 1) Access the feature from the main navigation menu i.e. Home > Presentations .  2) Click on + icon on top right side of the Presentations screen.  3) Give your presentation a name and choose OK . 4) You may Hide Instructions by clicking on the link. 5) Click on the Presentation Menu on top right side of the screen, and choose an action, such as Add a Live Slide . 6) Select an option to create a live slide of your choice.  7) Enter a user name and select/deselect Include Matrix Reports , as requried.
